Privacy notice

How TQ Innovations collects, uses and protects your personal information, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

Who we are

TQ Innovations (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/538791/07) is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website. Our office is at 129A, 100 Jorissen Street, Braamfontein, Johannesburg, Gauteng, 2017. Email: admin@tqi.co.za.

Personal information we collect

When you complete our discovery-session form or email us, we collect the details you choose to give us:

  • Full name, company / organisation and work email
  • Phone number, if you provide it
  • The service and industry you select, and your message
  • Your consent to us using these details to respond to your enquiry

To protect the form from spam, a security check may process technical information about your browser and device. This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this notice and ask for your consent where required.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange a discovery session
  • To communicate with you about the services you asked about
  • To keep a record of our correspondence

We do not sell your personal information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Why we may process it

We process your personal information with your consent, which you give when you submit the form, and where it is necessary to take steps you have asked for before entering into an agreement with us. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run this website and handle email and enquiries on our behalf. They may process it only on our instructions and must keep it confidential and secure. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Transfers outside South Africa

Some of our service providers may store or process information outside South Africa. Where this happens, we transfer information only as POPIA allows — for example, where the recipient is bound by laws or agreements that give a level of protection substantially similar to POPIA.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or for as long as the law requires. We then delete or de-identify it.

How we protect it

We take appropriate, reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, damage and unauthorised access or use.

Your rights

Under POPIA you have the right to:

  • Ask whether we hold personal information about you, and request access to it
  • Ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, out of date or no longer needed
  • Object to the processing of your personal information
  • Withdraw your consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator

To exercise any of these rights, email admin@tqi.co.za. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

Information Officer

You can contact our Information Officer at admin@tqi.co.za.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
